In this land of hills, forests, lochs and woodlands, there's a wealth of natural beauty and abundance of wildlife to be found and the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park offering a variety of walks to suit all abilities. Keen hill walkers and walking groups can tackle the longer and more strenuous outings along the West Highland Way or the ascent of Ben Lomond. Easy strolls along the loch shore and marked paths and trails of the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, are ideal for the less energetic.
