What's on in and around Loch Lomond, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh in the heart of Scotland   

Due to the ongoing spread of Corona Virus, most, if not all social gathering and events have been cancelled. Scotland’s national forests and land remain open.
However visitor centres across Scotland have closed. Follow the guidelines and enjoy the great outdoors. Above all stay safe.

Sunrise Goose Walk

Thousands of geese spend the winter months feeding and roosting around the Loch Lomond area. Join the team for an early morning woodland walk along to one of their favourite roosting spots. As the sun comes up, watch as the geese move on to their daytime feeding areas. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear and bring torches and binoculars if you have them. World Wildlife Day Celebration

Balloch Castle Country Park, Balloch Alexandria - 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm     
In advance of World Wildlife Day, join us in celebrating at Balloch Castle Country Park alongside Scottish Forestry, West Dunbartonshire Council and Operation Play Outdoors. Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels will have a stall where you can find out more about red squirrel conservation in your local area, as well as a treasure hunt on the day.

The Wallace Monument Stirling
From April to September the Wallace Monument by Stirling holds live performances by costumed actors – bringing Sir William Wallace and the characters of his time to life. Listen to the story of The Battle of Stirling Bridge, or even have your photograph taken with a Scottish warrior from the 14th Century! Presentations take place between 11.15am and 3.30pm each day on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays (and at weekends only from October until December, and during February and March).
