The hotel nestles below Ben Lomond in the heart of Scotland's magnificent first National Park. The Rowardennan Hotel is located on the quieter eastern shore of Loch Lomond on the West Highland Way. Nestling beneath Ben Lomond, the Hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation and food is served all day until 9pm.
Situated on the banks of Loch Lomond in the magnificent Queen Elizabeth Forest with spectacular views of Ben Lomond and the loch, the Rowardennan Hotel is ideally located for a tranquil break at any time of the year. Modern facilities add to the feeling of comfort and relaxation. Situated on the West Highland Way long distance footpath from Milngavie to Fort William, the hotel is a popular stopping point with walkers.

The Hotel bedrooms have been recently refurbished and although its origins date from 1696, the accommodation offers a very high standard. The Rowardennan Hotel has 17 bedrooms over 3 floors including double bedrooms, twin bedrooms, family rooms and the Ben Lomond Suite. Each room has been decorated and furnished in a traditional style, giving a country house hotel atmosphere. Many rooms have spectacular views of the Loch or Ben Lomond.
Wining and Dining at Rowardennan
The Rob Roy and Clansman bars offer a wide range of traditional ales and malt whiskies, which can be savoured in the comfort of the true Highland surroundings whilst warmed by blazing log fires. Both bars offer an extensive range of Scottish dishes comprising of fresh and local produce when available. All meals are freshly prepared and cooked to order. A full hearty Scottish breakfast is available at the Rowardennan Hotel, as are snacks, lunches and evening meals.
Live entertainment is on in the Clansman Bar from 9.30pm on Saturday's (April - October)

How to get here
To get to Rowardennan head for Drymen on the B858 just left off the A811 Stirling Road. In Drymen turn left onto the Balmaha Road the B837. After about 4 miles, you come to Balmaha. The road then narrows and heads north for around 6 miles (watch for walkers, cyclists and oncoming traffic!) You will then come to the Rowardennan Hotel on the left nestling beneath Ben Lomond.
