Loch Lomond Winter Competition 2014-15

Win Two Nights B&B at Arrochar Hotel

Situated in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, the Arrochar Hotel is one of the most enviably positioned hotels in Argyll & Bute. Originally designed and built in the 19th century, this imposing countryside mansion is magnificently based at the very foot of the ‘Arrochar Alps’ on the shores of Loch Long.

About the Arrochar Alps
The Arrochar Alps are a group of mountains located around the head of Loch Long, Loch Fyne and Loch Goil, near the villages of Arrochar and Lochgoilhead in Argyll, Scotland. The mountains are especially popular with hillwalkers, due to their proximity and accessibility from Glasgow.

The Arrochar Alps, is a great hillwalking area, which are so-called because they are said to resemble the Alps in miniature, not just because of their rocky and rugged character, but because of the weather conditions which can be surprisingly volatile.

The main hills making up the Arrochar Alps include Ben Arthur (The Cobbler), Beinn Luibhean, Beinn Ime, Beinn Narnain, Ben Vane and Ben Vorlich.

The Arrochar Hotel is also an ideal base to visit Loch Lomond, Inveraray and the West Highlands.

To win a two-night stay in a superior double room at the Arrochar Hotel, answer the following question:
