Win a three night self catering break in Buchanan Lodge
Buchanan Lodge is named after the Buchanan Clan of Loch Lomond. The clan fought against the Vikings to reclaim much of the east of the loch. The Buchanans also fought for Robert the Bruce in the early 14th century.
Buchanan Lodge has a magnificent setting, situated on the quiet east shore of Loch Lomond. Offering peace and tranquility, it nestles beneath Ben Lomond at Rowardennan. A truly picturesque small hamlet, Rowardennan is the farthest north on the eastern shore that you can take a vehicle and the trip is worth every mile travelled. Lying at the foot of Ben Lomond, it provides some of the most spectacular views northwards. There is no public transport with buses terminating at Balmaha. A great destination for those who love the great outdoors, walking or just relaxation.
